We stayed at Haeundae LCT Residence with our family, and the short version is this: the room is cheap for what it is, and the waterpark downstairs is not included.
Those two facts are the whole planning problem, so here they are up front.

Rates climb in peak season — summer, holidays, and Busan festival weekends. These are starting prices, not what you’ll pay in August.
For an ocean-view apartment on Haeundae Beach with a full kitchen, that is inexpensive. A four-person family does not need the larger suite — the standard rooms are already big.
The waterpark is separate, and it can cost as much as the room. Details below, including the discount that isn’t advertised.
What “Residence” Means in Korea
This trips up visitors. In Korea, a residence is a specific kind of accommodation: a serviced apartment where you can actually cook.
That means a real kitchen — induction cooktop, pots, dishes — not a kettle and a mini fridge. There is also a separate laundry room in the unit, so you can wash whenever you want rather than hunting for a coin machine.
With children, this changes the trip. You can make breakfast instead of paying for four hotel breakfasts. You can wash sandy beach clothes the same evening. You can pack lighter because you’re doing laundry mid-trip.
Breakfast is not included. The hotel next door serves it, but you pay separately.
Choosing a Room: Two Different Views
Before you look at sizes, know that the building faces two ways, and you pick one.

The beach-facing rooms are the bigger ones and cost more. Mipo Harbour faces the fishing harbour and the coastline heading east — a quieter view, and where the smaller rooms are.
For a family of four on a budget, look at the Ocean Junior Suite — 165㎡ (1,776 sq ft), two bedrooms, two bathrooms, standard occupancy four and up to six. That’s the cheaper bracket, from around ₩200,000, and it’s already larger than most apartments people live in.
We stayed in the Beach Around Suite: 251㎡ (2,701 sq ft), three bedrooms, three bathrooms, facing Haeundae Beach.
Two things worth knowing. Three bathrooms matters more than three bedrooms when four people are getting ready at the same time. And the “Around” rooms are named for their windows, which wrap the corner of the building — you get the beach on one side and the Marine City skyline on the other from the same room. If the view is why you’re booking here, that’s the difference worth paying for.
Living, kitchen and sleeping areas are separate, so children can sleep while adults stay up.
The Waterpark: Club D Oasis
This is on floors 4 to 6 of the same building. You take the lift — no going outside, no taxi. With kids in swimsuits, that is worth a lot.
It is not a hotel pool. It’s a full spa and waterpark complex:
- 4F — waterpark
- 5F — Cheongsudang, the Korean bathhouse: sauna, lockers, changing rooms
- 6F — jjimjilbang and terrace
Floor 5 is your base. You change and store your things there, men and women use separate bathing areas, and it’s where your family regroups before leaving. If you’ve never used a Korean bathhouse: the sauna floor is nude and gender-separated, while the jjimjilbang upstairs is clothed and mixed.
Tickets
Two types, both time-limited:
- Waterpark pass (4F + 5F) — 6 hours
- Full pass (4F + 5F + 6F, adds the jjimjilbang) — 7 hours

Ask about the guest discount. It is not on the website. We called to check, and staff confirmed that showing your room key or booking confirmation gets you 20–30% off. We paid ₩36,900 per adult and ₩27,900 per child on a weekday.
For two adults and two children, that’s ₩129,600 instead of ₩256,000 at the gate — a difference of about $90.
If for some reason you can’t get the guest rate, still buy online rather than at the door. Online prices vary by date and drop outside peak season.
The site has full English, Japanese and Chinese versions, so you can book without reading Korean.
Summer Evenings Get Loud
In July and August, Club D Oasis runs an evening festival programme — DJ sets, live performances, pool parties.
This isn’t a reason to avoid summer. It’s a reason to go during the day if you have younger children. Book a daytime slot, be out before the evening programme starts, and it’s a normal family waterpark.
Getting to the Beach
The building connects directly to the beach walkway. You step out and you’re there — no crossing roads, no driving.
Morning and evening walks along Haeundae became the part of the day our family looked forward to most, and it happened because it required no planning at all.

The residence and the waterpark are run separately, so they’re two bookings.

Budget It Properly
Here’s what a family of four should actually expect for one night with a waterpark day:
- Room: from ₩200,000 (~$145)
- Waterpark, guest rate: ₩129,600 (~$93)
- Breakfast: separate, at the hotel next door
- Groceries: optional, and the reason the kitchen pays for itself
The room is the cheap part. Plan the waterpark as a second line item, not a bonus.
Who This Suits
Book it if you’re four or more people, you want to cook at least some meals, and you want the beach and a waterpark without transport.
Skip it if you’re two people, or if you want everything bundled into one price — this is an apartment with paid facilities attached, not an all-inclusive resort.
