KTX trains run frequently between Seoul and Busan (approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes),
so you can plan a simple day trip:

Afternoon arrival → Gwangalli Beach walk → Evening drone show → Return to Seoul by KTX.

For families traveling with kids, this makes the drone show a flexible and easy nighttime activity.
